Playing 20 years of catch up!!!

I was watching old clips of GL. And I think the old Alan was really good and sexy!!! This is the Alan that came to Tulsa to get Reva. Was this before or after being married to Josh????? Was Josh the first Lewis husband??? I was confused. Saw the first Reva/ Josh wedding and the prewedding fishing, it was so wonderful I loved it. Seeing all reva's family was nice. Also was watching a clip of Olivia being married to Alan and they were talking about the Diary of Lorelei who the Heck is Lorelei???? Help me please??? Now I can see why every is so upset with the show lately.

Yes, the late Chris Bernau played Alan at the time he bought Reva to Springfield. This was before her first wedding to Josh. Reva was married to Billy before coming to town. She then married their father, H.B. Lorelei was a split-personality for Beth during her marriage to Our Prince Darkness (Edmund). God, I wish Edmund would return. Those morons were dumb to get rid of him.

I loved Chris Bernau so much, it was almost impossible for me to accept another actor in that role..... they tried a couple of them. The first time I saw Ron Raines, I knew this was the one, there was an instant connection!

The one actor from this show who is truely irreplacable would be the great Michael Zaslow..... Roger Thorp. I miss him so much. When he bacame ill, I noticed it and was wondering what was wrong..... he surely wasn't himself. It was devestating to learn he had ALS and we would be losing him. There should be no end of the shame for the way TPTB at GL treated him!
